As part of our commitment to our community, we are proud to sponsor and participate in Horizon Academy’s Drive for Dyslexia Golf Tournament.

“We are dedicated to helping our community,” shared Complete Legal Co-Founder, Eric Kelting. “Being a sponsor for Horizon Academy’s Drive for Dyslexia Golf Tournament is the perfect opportunity for us to contribute to their efforts to bring awareness to dyslexia and empower students.”

All money raised at the golf tournament will go directly to need-based scholarships. Horizon Academy has awarded $432,300 in scholarships this year and is budgeting $500,000 in scholarships for the 2021-22 school year.

“It is hard to truly explain the impact Horizons Academy has had on my son Tate, not only academically but with his self-confidence and awareness. He now understands that his learning disabilities do make some things harder, but he also knows they don’t define him or prevent him from being successful in school and life,” shared Horizons Academy supporter, Brady Sullivan. “Complete Legal’s sponsorship is helping children and their families continue to make this possible. I am very grateful for the generosity of Complete Legal in supporting this event and Horizons Academy.”

Horizon Academy empowers students diagnosed with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities to become effective learners and confident self-advocates. Missouri and Kansas are home to more than 300,000 children diagnosed with dyslexia. Horizon Academy is the only fully-accredited Kansas City area school specializing in serving children with dyslexia, other language-based learning disabilities, and ADD/ADHD. As a transition school, students typically attend Horizon Academy for 2 – 5 years, with the average enrollment being 3 years.
