As the city, county and state all begin easing their various stay at home orders, we thought it was appropriate to share how we’ve maintained a high level of service while working from home and our reopening plans for the Complete Legal office.
#StayHomeKC: Working from Home
Our entire staff has mostly been working from home since early March. As with any business, we faced several obstacles to making “working from home” a reality for our entire team. Each of our teams faced their own unique challenges. Luckily, we are blessed with terrific leadership throughout our organization and we were able to quickly work out the kinks.
eDiscovery Demand Up
Our eDiscovery team has adapted their systems and found a great rhythm that allowed for them to handle an increase in workload during the early stages of the quarantine. It turns out that when our clients are stuck working from home, they tend to use their online databases more. Much more. We enjoyed reconnecting with old clients in need of a refresher course as well as welcoming new clients into our organization. Remote Mobile Device Collection Available
As you might imagine, our data acquisition (mobile device collection) team has been forced to get creative over the past two months. From operating within “safe rooms” at client worksites, to pushing the limits of our remote data collection capabilities, we have learned many lessons throughout this process. These lessons were helpful in meeting deadlines during this quarantine and will undoubtedly be useful workflows as things start returning to normal as well.
Paper-Based Services Still Up and Running
Our traditional, paper-based, operations have also been able to meet our customers’ needs, although with more creativity required. Most of our document specialists have been working long and non-traditional hours. By utilizing more hours in the day, our document specialists have been able to ensure their personal safety and also maintain the high service levels you have come to expect.
Health and Safety are Our Priorities
As we start our reopening process, we want to assure you that we will continue to be able to meet your needs. We stand ready to serve as you start reentering your offices and as the litigation world starts up again.
